Philip Meersman, “Tableau Vivant III”

Philip Meersman

Tableau Vivant III (Reading the rain)

Downpour
leftover letters of Shakespearian sonnets

I stare

– shades of grey crumble the pallet of the painter –

how colours sink into the landscape
how random characters write history in the wrinkles of the seam
how we miss the beginning of a beautiful friendship
how a bus pulls itself through the temporary river of the street

I forecast
I join the brethren

Holy Warriors

– suicide groupies merged into a pool –

Predictor of Life
